Hunter 350 Upgrades for City Riding

Seats, engine guards, flyscreens and bar end mirrors for the Hunter 350, including which flyscreen fits your variant.

Hunter 350 Upgrades for City Riding

The Hunter 350 is the lightest, most city-friendly Royal Enfield, and most owners ride it in traffic every day. The upgrades that make sense are different from a touring bike: a better seat, protection for the inevitable parking-lot tip-over, and a few parts that sharpen the look.

Pick the right seat

There are three genuine options, and they do different jobs:

  • Low Ride Dual Seat: 21 mm lower than stock. Good if you want both feet flat at signals. It’s designed to be waterproof.
  • Custom Seat: narrower with a tighter back end, so it looks sportier, but it also adds the 3D net layer for comfort.
  • Signature Bench Seat: ribbed and flat, for a stripped-down retro look.

Protect it from the small falls

City bikes fall over at low speed more than anywhere else. The Compact Engine Guards are made from 22 mm tube and sit close to the engine for a discreet look. If you want more coverage, the Large Engine Guards (28.5 mm tube) and the Octagon Engine Guard (28.6 mm carbon steel) wrap further around the engine.

For speed breakers and broken roads, the Sumpguard protects the underside of the engine and the lower frame rails. It’s pressed aluminium with rubber-isolated brackets.

A flyscreen: check your variant

A small tinted flyscreen takes some pressure off your chest on faster roads and tidies up the front. There are two versions: KXA00126 fits only the Tarmac Black variant, and KXA00655 fits all the other Hunter variants. Order the one that matches your bike.

Mirrors

Bar end mirrors give you a wider view of what’s behind and stay steadier than the stock mirrors. You’ll need the Bar End Mirror Mounts along with either the round or tapered mirrors. They’re homologated, so they’re legal replacements.

Carrying a bag

For weekend rides, the Modern Soft Panniers fit the Hunter on their own rails, KXA00199. Note that these Hunter rails are made for the Modern panniers specifically. For daily use there’s also the lockable Commuter Pannier with the Hunter commuter rail.

Pillion comfort

The Passenger Backrest Mounts are styled for the Hunter and take the black backrest pad, which you order separately.
