Meteor 350 Highway Touring Kit

Touring seats, backrest, screen, footpegs and luggage for the Meteor 350, with the genuine part number for each.

Meteor 350 Highway Touring Kit

The Meteor 350 is built to cruise, and most owners end up doing longer rides than they planned. The good news is that Royal Enfield makes a full set of touring parts for it. Here’s how we’d put a highway kit together.

Touring seats for both of you

The Touring Rider Seat has a flatter, larger base and extra lumbar support compared with stock, plus the 3D net layer that spreads your weight. The matching Touring Passenger Seat has a raised front edge that supports the pillion’s lower back. Both come in black and brown.

If you’d rather sit lower, the Low Ride Rider Seat drops the seat by 11 mm and looks like the original.

A proper backrest

The current Passenger Backrest Mounts give your pillion 40 mm more room than the earlier version. Add a black or brown backrest pad to finish it off. On a long day, your pillion will notice this more than anything else on the list.

Screen and handlebar

The Touring Screen is made for the Meteor 350. It’s hard-coated, scratch resistant and keeps the wind off your chest at highway speed. If you only want a little help, the smaller tinted Flyscreen clamps on with two brackets.

For the riding position, there are two handlebars with very different ideas. The Touring Handlebar gives a more relaxed reach for long rides. The Drag Handlebar is lower and straighter for a custom cruiser look and comes with forged risers and longer cables. Pick the touring bar if comfort is the goal.

Feet and lights

Deluxe Footpegs are forged aluminium with rubber inserts that cut vibration through your boots, and they fit both rider and pillion positions. For riding through winter fog, the LED Fog Lights put out 1,080 lumens per pair over a wide spread, which helps you see and be seen.

Luggage

The roll-top soft panniers (Classic, Adventure or Modern style) carry 14.5 litres a side and are IPx6 water resistant. On the Meteor they mount on the Soft Pannier Rails. If you want a lockable box for everyday use, the Commuter Pannier holds 12.5 litres and needs its own rail.

Protection

The Airfly, Octagon and Trapezium guards are all listed for the Meteor and use 32 mm steel tube. Fit the Engine Guard Mount with whichever you choose. It’s designed to break in a hard impact so the frame is protected.
