Guerrilla 450 Accessories: A Practical Street Build

The Guerrilla 450 uses the Himalayan 450’s engine in a lighter roadster, so it’s quick in town and happy on the highway. Royal Enfield’s accessory range for it is aimed at everyday riding: better seats, protection that doesn’t add bulk, and a couple of ways to carry things.

Two seats, two different ideas

The Urban Seat keeps the stock riding position but changes the look, with a ribbed rider section, silver stitching and embroidered branding.

The Bench Seat is flatter and slimmer, and it raises the rider seat height by 22 mm. That opens up the knee angle, which taller riders find more comfortable on longer rides. If you’re shorter, stick with the stock seat or the Urban seat.

Protection without the bulk

The Guerrilla is light, and you don’t want to undo that. The Compact Engine Guards are 22.2 mm mild steel, minimally styled, and protect the engine cases from tip-overs. If you want more coverage for daily commuting, the Large Engine Guards have a wider span and a triangulated mount back to the frame.

Two more parts are worth considering:

• Radiator Guard: stamped aluminium that protects the radiator from stones while keeping airflow up. Also available in silver.
• Sumpguard: protects the underside from stone chips and kerb strikes, with rubber-isolated brackets.

Hands and headlight

The Hand Guards are lightweight and mount at two points for extra strength. They keep wind and debris off your hands and protect the levers in a fall. The Headlight Grill protects the LED headlight from stones and is homologated for road use.

Wind protection

The tinted Flyscreen wraps around the instruments and takes some of the wind off your chest. The painted Halcyon Black Instrument Cowl does a similar job with a body-coloured finish.

Carrying things

The Rear Rack has grab handles for the pillion built in, and you can strap soft luggage or a small top box to it. For panniers, the Soft Pannier Rails take the Classic, Adventure and Modern soft panniers, so you can choose the style.
